I recently found a neat gizmo from Happenstance Products.  It's a simple slide holder that sits on the front of a Nikon CP950, and allows you to make quick copies of 35mm slides.  It's not quite as good as a slide scanner, but it's much, much faster.  So, I pulled out a box of old slides and started clicking.

These photos are from a period in 1970-1971 when there was a lot of good racing going on, and I was young and free enough to see some of it.  There are color problems with the old transparencies, but I've done minimal adjustment so far.
